What You Need to Know

Here’s the essential information to help you manage your studies smoothly:

🎓 Enrollment

  • Enroll every year in the current Academic Year (A.Y.).
  • Pay tuition fees in two instalments:
    • November (1st installment)
    • April (2nd installment)
  • 📌 Apply for your ISEE by mid-December.

⚠️ Conditional Enrollment (after the 2nd year)

  • If you are missing up to 4 exams, you can enroll conditionally.
  • ✅ No extra fees if you graduate by the April session after your second year.
  • Otherwise, enroll in the new A.Y. (no surcharge).
  • 📅 Deadline: 31 December
  • 📌 Apply for your ISEE by mid-December.

💻 Join MS Teams

  • Join the Mechatronics group on MS Teams (code: hr5sw4o) using your university email.
  • 📧 Email simona.ranieri@uniroma2.eu to access your class channel (A.Y. 2025–26), indicating your first enrollment year.
  • 🔔 This is your main communication channel with the Didactic Office (S. Ranieri)

📚 Courses & Study Plan

  • Follow only the courses in your study plan (A, B, C1, C2, D, E).
  • 📝 Submitting your study plan in the 1st year is mandatory.
  • 🔄 One change per year allowed (not in the 1st year).
  • ❗ Take exams only from your approved plan.
  • ℹ️ Inform the professor if course credits differ.

🧩 Program Structure

  • 78 credits: mandatory courses for all students
  • 24 credits: courses specific to the curriculum
  • 6 credits: internship/activities
  • 12 credits: final exam

🗓️ Classes

  • Timetables: 1 week before classes start.
  • 📆 2 semesters per year
  • 👩‍🏫 From A.Y. 2025–26: mandatory in-person attendance

🏢 Internships

  • ℹ️ Details will be provided—check updates regularly.

🎓 Graduation

  • 🕒 Apply 60–30 days before the deadline (not later than 30 days).
  • 📌 For residence permit issues, contact the Engineering Student Office before the deadline.
