• Each CFU corresponds to 25 working hours in the company;
  • The curricular traineeship may not be completed for more than 12 months in the same company;
  • It is possible to extend a traineeship up to the maximum total duration of 12 months;
  • Students can use curricular internships in the company for the ECTS recognition or for writing the thesis;
  • For curricular placements, the company is not obliged to pay the trainee;
  • The University will cover the student with the following insurance policies:

  • For insurance purposes, it is essential to sign the training plan indicating the period (days and hours).
    EXTERNAL INTERNSHIPS: may not exceed 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week;
    INTERNAL INTERNSHIPS AT THE UNIVERSITY: may not exceed 36 hours per week;
  • It is mandatory to have a University tutor (Researcher or Professor Internals) who follows the intern during the stay in the company and accepts the objectives and methods of the internship. This rule is valid for both curricular and extracurricular placements;
  • Employers may accommodate trainees about the activity of the holding within the following limits:
    – with employees number from 0 to 5, only one trainee can enter;
    – with 19 permanent employees not more than 2 trainees;
    – with more than 20 permanent employees, trainees not exceeding 10 percent of these employees.


  • During the 12 months from graduation, the extracurricular internship can be carried out, and the University covers the trainees with the same insurance policies;
  • The extracurricular internship cannot exceed 6 months of stay in the same structure, and the company must pay the trainee at least 800 euros monthly.
