Mandatory Attendance
Starting from the second semester of the Academic Year 2025–2026, attendance is mandatory for all courses of the Master’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
Students must attend at least 70% of the lectures for each course in order to be admitted to the corresponding examination.
Attendance is monitored through the official attendance recording system.
Attendance Requirement for Part-Time Students
For part-time students (as regulated by Art. 13 of the Study Programme Regulations), the minimum attendance requirement is reduced proportionally according to the agreed duration of the individual study plan.
The required attendance percentage is calculated using the following formula:
70% × (Standard programme duration / Agreed part-time duration)
Example:
- Standard programme duration: 2 years
- Agreed part-time duration: 4 years
- Coefficient: 2/4 = 0.5
- Minimum required attendance: 35%
Attendance Recording
Attendance is recorded through the official attendance monitoring system. Students are responsible for ensuring their attendance is correctly registered in accordance with the procedures established by the Degree Programme.
Information regarding the attendance recording system and the collection or activation of required attendance devices will be communicated by the Didactic Secretariat as needed.
Course Prerequisites
Before attending classes, students are strongly encouraged to review the course prerequisites available in the course descriptions on the programme website. A good understanding of the recommended background knowledge will help students successfully follow the lectures and complete the examinations.
