Qualifications for Academic Year 2019-2020

ASSESSMENT FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS 2019-2020
(from the 21 January 2019 until the 20 June 2019)

In order to be admitted to this course you must provide a list or documents proving your previous study and work experiences in your own country. The recognization of these documents is called assessment.

The above procedure, available at the following link ASSESSMENT on delphi.uniroma2.it, can be activated from 21 January 2019 until 20 June 2019.

HOW TO APPLY from “Tor Vergata Ateneo website”

  • The cost for the assessment is 30€ for all the APPLICANTS HOLDING A FOREIGN TITLE.
  • The accepted candidate will automatically receive an email in English describing the steps to print the admission letter.
  • The online payment of the contribution of 30 euros can be made using the following link: online-retail.unicredit.it
  • The payment has to be validate on Delphi with the AUTH code that the Unicredit Bank will send via e-mail within 4 day.

The enrollment of EU and non-EU citizens holding a qualification obtained abroad is subject to the validity of the documentation and the degree.

 General Information

Course type: Master’s Degree (120 CFU) LM-29

• Duration: 2 years
• Department: Electronics Engineering
• Access type: Open with curricular skills test
• Admission: For admission to the Master of Science in Mechatronics Engineering, prospective students must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics or Mechanics. Other degrees will be evaluated. It is preferable to submit a translation in English or in Italian of the Degree certificate with a degree mark in tenths. Students with grade from 6.5 will have priority.

Compulsory documents:  Transcripts of Records of the Bachelor’s degree (with the final GpA), English Language (Certificate optional).

Recognition of qualifications (CIMEA)

All qualifications must be officially translated into Italian and authenticated by the authorities of the country in which they were issued (except in the case of international agreements and conventions that provide for exemption).
Each qualification must be accompanied by a “Dichiarazione di valore in loco” (Certificate of Equivalence of Qualification), issued by the Italian Embassy in the country in which the qualification was awarded.

Enrollment procedure:

  1. Submit your Pre-Application at the following link of Delphi: ASSESSMENT (choose for State “EE” and for the University “Università estera”)
  2. Pay the bulletin automatically generated by the system at the following link of the Unicredit Bank:  for 30 euros and validate the payment via Delphi account. Only after the pre-aplication you can pay from here:
  3. Validate the payment on-line, otherwise your application will not be considered, at the following link: https://delphi.uniroma2.it/totem/jsp/aS_1_1.jsp?opzione=5&language=EN with the AUTH code that the Unicredit Bank will send via e-mail within 4 day.
  4. A confirmation email will be sent to the selected candidates who will have to present to the Italian embassy in their country to meet the visa requirements.
  5. In order to download a letter of acceptance you have to:
    – go to the site http://delphi.uniroma2.it
    – click on the Student Section,
    – then click on the link 1) Assessment,
    – and after click on the link b) download letter of acceptance.
    – Insert your Fiscal Code (codice fiscale) ———– and your ctrl ———
  6. Upon your arrival in Rome at Tor Vergata University, the “International Students Office” will guide you in completing your registration.

Italian Students holding a foreign qualification

• Curriculum Vitae in English (any format).
• Motivation Letter (in English, any format).
• English proficiency certificate for non-English mother tongue. Minimum requirements: IELTS  6.0-TOEFL IBT 65/PBT 513/CBT 183- CEF B2- OR ALL OTHER EQUIVALENTS). In exceptional cases students who cannot provide a certificate may be considered for a Skype interview in order to assess their knowledge of English.

EU citizens

For EU nationals, EU-equated citizens and non-EU citizens resident in Italy there is this useful website.

Non-EU citizens

Before starting the pre-enrolment procedure, please, contact the Italian Embassy in Your Country for the terms and the documents required for international students, from January to June.
