Microsoft Teams is the official communication platform of the Mechatronics program. All students are required to activate and use it regularly.

1. Activate Your University Account

Before using Teams, make sure you have activated your university email account:

• Format: name.surname@students.uniroma2.eu
• If you haven’t activated it yet, follow the instructions provided by the university.

2. Access Microsoft Teams

• Go to: https://teams.microsoft.com
• Log in using your university email and password
• You can also download the Teams app on your computer or phone

3. Join the Mechatronics Team

• Click on “Join or create a team”
• Enter the code: hr5sw4o
• Join the Mechatronics group
• After joining the main group, you must be added to your Academic Year’s class channel.
  (e.g. STUDENTS class A.Y. 2025-26 Mechatronics)📧 Send an email to: simona.ranieri@uniroma2.eu
  Include:
  • Your full name
  • Your Student Account
  • Your student ID number (matricola)

4. Check Teams Regularly

• Teams is the main communication channel for:
  • announcements
  • timetable updates
  • important notices from professors and the program
• Make sure to check it frequently and enable notifications

5. To access your classes

Look for the Teams code or link on the course page at https://didattica.uniroma2.it/.

If you do not join Teams, you may miss important information about your courses and academic activities.

🔧 What you can do

• Activate your university email account

Request a Temporary Microsoft Teams Account

Use this option only if your university account is not yet active.

Steps to follow:

1. Fill in the request FORM
   • Make sure your email address is correct
   • You will receive a confirmation email
   • If not, contact: 365@supporto.uniroma2.it
2. Wait for approval
   • Your request will be reviewed by the Welcome Office
3. Receive your credentials
   • You will get your username and password by email
4. Access Microsoft Teams
   • Go to: https://teams.microsoft.com
   • Log in and set your password
5. Install Microsoft Teams (recommended)
   • Download the app on your computer or smartphone
6. Join your class
   • Use the Team code or invitation link provided
